You can request your own Oklahoma driving record or that of other persons. These records are also known as Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and can be requested from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) in Oklahoma through Records Management Division. Your Oklahoma Driving Record contains information about your driving history. OK driving records can be used:

Each type of Motor Vehicle Report contains a 3 year old driving history and which includes the following information:

You can request your own Oklahoma driving record or that of other persons by mail or in person. These records cannot be ordered online.

Businesses or employment agencies can request Oklahoma driving records as part of their employment requirement. These driving records provide a detailed history of any violations and suspensions you might have committed. The fastest way to order a driving record is through online using a 3rd-party advertiser. The most commonly used advertiser is DrivingRecords.com. This agency also offers other services like SSN verifications, criminal records and other driving records that you may need for employment screening purpose. In Oklahoma, you can only request another person’s driving record if your request falls under the following categories:
- A federal, state, or local court conducting official business
- An insurance provider investigating a claim or adjusting premiums
- An attorney working on a case.

Requesting Driving Record by Mail
To request an Oklahoma driving record by mail, you’ll need the following:
- A completed Form (DPS 303RM 0097) which is the Records Request and Consent to Release form.
- Payment of required fees.

Use their physical address below: Room 206, Department of Public Safety 3600 North Martin Luther King Avenue Oklahoma City, OK 73111 You will need to bring a completed form DPS 303RM 0097 and proof of payment.

- $25 for non-certified driving records

NOTE: The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety does not accept personal checks for requesting a motor vehicle driving record.
