About Spyker

Spyker is really a rarity within this era of car maker conglomerates and dwindling consumer demand — this is an independent company that develops exotic sports cars manually. The Spyker title dates back towards the late 1800s. Two siblings, Jacobus and Hendrik Jan Spijker, began building their first cars in Amsterdam. Most lately, Spyker made news because of its acquisition of the Swedish car maker Saab from Vehicle included in GM's personal bankruptcy reorganization.

However the Spyker company we all know today went one major transformation from the beginning. Very few people be aware of comopany founded by Jacobus and Hendrik-Jan Spijker in 1898 went bankrupt in 1922, despite efforts to really make it lucrative. Regardless of this, Spyker was known at that time to make reliable cars which were regarded as because the “Rolls Royce from the continent”.
